About

We are:
Matt, the husband and creative writer (but not of this bio), supporter and nerd.
Kaylee, the wife and creative painter, photographer, knitter, gluer, (it's a word I promise!)cutter, (not of my body) re-doer, control obsessed but calm.

Hello! This shop will actually be up and rockin' out in a few months. We are currently in the middle of planning and creating a wedding to celebrate eloping last September. Once the madness is over we will swing into full force creating for something outside of the wedding. The designs and products are still in the beginning stages so I (Kaylee) want to make sure we have something we are proud of and something desired before we put it out there.

Hello! This shop will actually be up and rockin' out in a few months. We are currently in the middle of planning and creating a wedding to celebrate eloping last September. We found Etsy for the first time in 2007, however when it was stumbled upon I had a vague encounter and it wasn’t until after we eloped and knew the family was about to insist on a wedding that I started really digging in. We wanted and very budget, handmade, unique and personal way to celebrate and Etsy has truly made this happen.

I have found so many creative people on here that I couldn’t help but be inspired. I have always been a creator. I use to sew on my mom’s machine when I was little and make purses and random stuffed pillows and honestly I use to just sew a lot of lines to see the different stitches. I always was coloring and drawing and “designing”. As a teenager, my dad who is a contractor built yet another house for us to live in, only this time I was allowed to pick out everything for my bathroom and bedroom. The tile, fixtures, countertops, paint, towels, rugs, carpeting, the ceiling fan, and all of the furniture. I loved it! And speaking of having a contractor for a father, I managed to get myself all over the home projects and the construction sites. (Not always by choice…) But it did help me develop and understanding for basic architecture and how things come together. I can handle a skill saw and a nail gun pretty well and I have laid my share of bricks. High school was also when I fell in love with photography. I managed to complete every photography class our community college offered before graduation and loved every minute spent in the dark room. I will have my own dark room someday, I am determined!

This is just a brief, even though it felt really long, description of us. We can’t wait for what will come of this once we are ready!
