About

I'm 22 years old, and a recent college graduate.

I've been making jewelry since I was 12 years old, when my grandmother taught me how to string beads. She taught me the basics of jewelry making, I used to love going to visit her and having our special jewelry making time. When I was 15, my grandmother lost her battle against cancer. When she passed away, I lost all interest in jewelry making. It was too painful for me to do without her. It was about a year later that I started making jewelry again- I had realized that my grandmother never would have wanted me to give up making jewelry. She loved art, and I knew she would want me to keep creating jewelry. A few years later, I had decided that I wanted to try selling my pieces here on etsy, and at craft shows. My grandmother had sold her paintings at craft shows, so now I'm following in her footsteps by selling my own artistic work to bring…

My grandmother had sold her paintings at craft shows, so now I'm following in her footsteps by selling my own artistic work to bring happiness to others. After all- isn't art about bringing happiness to people?

I grew up in St. Mary's County, which is located in Southern Maryland. It definitely inspires my work- I carry a small notebook with me wherever I go, and I'm always stopping to scribble down a new idea.

Out of all my inspirations, the beach is definitely my strongest. I've been going to the beach with my extended family since I was born, and all of the fun we have and the things we do inspire most of my jewelry. My nautical earrings are my signature piece. I started making them as gifts for my family- one year, I made all my aunts and cousins nautical earrings so that we could match while we were on vacation. It didn't take me long after to decide to make them my signature piece.

I love learning new things, which means my shop is constantly changing as I add all the new designs and techniques that I learn. I hope you enjoy looking at my pieces as much as I enjoy creating them! I'm always happy to answer any questions about my work and what I do.
