I've been blessed to do many things along the way, from homeschooling, co-op accounting, and book editing, to playing folk harp and practicing martial arts. Currently, I'm a massage therapist, an avid cyclist, and a jewelry maker. I'm enraptured with creating leather and beaded wrap bracelets a la Chan Luu. I like working with semi-precious stones to create bracelets with an earthy feel, but enjoy a bit of glitter and sparkle too.
A large portion of the sale of each item goes to support the efforts of Justice for Youth, a non-profit organization bringing "hope to children and youth around the world victimized by human trafficking, poverty, homelessness and HIV/AIDS or other life threatening diseases." I have opened this shop for the sole purpose of helping, in a small way, to see young people in targeted countries educated, rescued and empowered. Visit http://justiceforyouth.org/...
