I live just north of Boston, in Lowell MA, home of the Industrial Revolution and renowned for it’s textiles and large female workforce in the cotton mills. This may explain my obsession with cotton! I crochet in the memory of these great handmaidens.
I am a yarnaholic so there aren't many yarns I don't care for;) It's my tactile therapy. ( who doesn't love the feel of some nice yarn?)
I began crocheting when I was a 19 yr old nurse working late nights. It helped keep me awake, then it lit something up in me! I haven't stopped crocheting since.
I love being creative! In fact, I NEED to be creative. It's who I am and what stirs my soul. I love the feel of yarn in my hand, the textures of the stitches, the colors of the yarn, and seeing something being created right before my eyes…
