About

I am a German expat living in the UK and I've been creative in one way or another all my life. I have to thank my mum for this as she nurtured that side in me very early on. Her creativity has been and still is contagious and truly inspirational!
I have such wonderful childhood memories of making handmade presents for friends and family, of painting on silk or ceramics, making candles, drying flowers and making greeting cards, printing fabrics or paper with handmade potato stamps, making papermache bowls and puppets, knitting, crocheting, sewing and much, much more… ♥
I got into making jewellery a few years ago and have gotten totally obsessed with collecting beads and fabrics since then. They have slowly but surely been taking over the house and my life.. (I guess as far as obsessions go, it could be much worse, right ☺?)

I love experimenting with new materials that I haven't used before. When I order supplies I sometimes have a general idea of what I want to do with them at the point of ordering, but a lot of the times it is actually holding them in my hands and being able to play around with them once they have arrived that will provide the deciding inspiration for new designs. When the post man delivers a new bead order it usually takes all my will power not to drop everything else and start designing as I get excited like a kid in a sweet shop.. :-)

Making bracelets is really close to my heart and I hope you love wearing them as much as I've loved making them!

For my second Etsy venture I recently opened a supply shop offering many of the leather cords I have been using myself for some time now. You can find my supply shop here: BluebellHillCrafts.etsy.com
