Stella Ann's Profile
Stella’s artistic and creative approach to fashion stems from a plethora of design fields in which she has had extensive experience. This includes architectural model making for several reputable architectural firms both in Europe and Australia, working as a prop maker on the children’s TV production “Pingu” as well as the World War II epic “The Pacific” executively produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. During this production she worked in part on costume design and manufacture. After production came to an end, Stella set up Stella Ann.
This was a gateway to produce handmade quality fashion with a European aesthetic, which was underdeveloped in Melbourne’s fashion scene. Stella started the business in June 2009 with a hat and 2 years later, she has a full range of clothing and accessories, each piece crafted and sourced locally in Melbourne.
Her ambition for the future is to open her own…
