MonasAttic's Profile

About

I was the classic middle child - annoying, attention seeking, independent, and artistic. My sister Mona, eleven years my senior, showed her love for me by letting me live to see first grade. Over the years, she bought me many, many craft kits, art supplies, and books - this despite the fact my early artistic experiments were usually at her expense. The pen and ink drawing on her day-old lavendar chenille bedspread. Wherever that bedspread is, you can bet the Magic Marker masterpiece still remains. I painted her mattress after my Uncle Paul gave me my first set of watercolors. I told him it was the greatest gift anyone ever gave me. I was only three, but I sensed it.
