Welcome to my studio. I had been a part-time potter for about 15 years and now I am able to devote myself full time to creating the art that I love! I am primarily self-taught and have always had an affinity for functional pots. I try to be as environmentally conscious as I possibly can be about my craft which is why I fire stoneware to cone 6 electric. I recycle and reuse everything I can.

I am a full time potter and a mother of 2 kids, 2 cats, 1 dog, 5 chickens, and a saltwater reef. I have traveled the country practicing my craft and am now based in the Hudson River Valley. Nature is my inspiration. I try to bring the natural beauty of the world to my work.

Welcome to my studio. I had been a part-time potter for about 15 years and now I am able to devote myself full time to creating the art that I love!

The pieces you will find in my shop are all high-fire, functional stoneware. My pieces are relatively thin for stoneware because I like to push the clay to its maximum functionality. I use white stoneware clay to bring out the vibrant colors of the glaze. I make my own lead-free glaze and love the fluid look of overlapping glazes. Each piece I make is unique.

Functional pottery has been a part of our history for centuries. Every culture has used pottery in some form. I love that I can take raw minerals from the earth and permanently change them into a functional art form. I love the fact that by working with the elements of the earth I can create something beautiful and practical that can be used every day. I hope you enjoy my pieces as much as I enjoy making them!
