About

I have been a confirmed fiber fanatic since I was a child. I operate a small sheep ranch and fiber studio in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of northern New Mexico. The economy, the last few years of drought and the fact that I am not getting any younger have forced me to drastically cut the size of my flock of Mt.d'Oro sheep that are the result of twenty years of selective crossing of Churro,Cotswold and a bit of Corriedale sheep with the goal of producing the ideal fleece for rug weaving. I shear, wash, dye with natural dyes, card , spin and weave the wool into beautiful rugs. I sell everything from the raw wool to the finished rugs along with some supplies. I can do custom work to order.
