My shop name came from my love of Morning Glories. I love the way they wake up in the morning in all their glory & then go back to sleep at night.......kind of like me!!
I have been greatly inspired by Donna Dewberry & one stroke painting. My product is hand painted glassware with many different varieties of glass that just keeps growing. You show me a piece of glass and I'll paint it!!!

I use any kind of smooth glass pieces that I can find and normally purchase from stores that carry large quanities of the same. I use folkart enamel paint for glass, as I find it to be the best for me. I love the creamy, thick consistency. When I start a piece, I choose a design (I love florals) & paint this on the glass. Once completed it is fired, cooled, washed and ready for my customers! The most difficult part of this process, is picking the design because I like so many of them.

I get my inspiration from alot of things, but if you look at the glass section and see the one called "Starburst", that was created for my daughter's wedding shower as a favor to all our guest. I took the starburst design from her shower invitation and painted it on the wine glasses in her wedding colors and it turned out beautiful. I am most proud of this piece!
I feel that in the sea of hand painted glassware, I try to set myself apart by painting classic, clean, finished products. I carry many different pieces of glass to suit everyones needs. I have a heavy hand with my painting which tends to make my pieces very durable after firing and sets me apart from other painters.

Morning Glories offfers custom designs and note cards at a nominal fee. If you need to get in touch just convo me through Etsy.
And finally, my passion is painting. It is most rewarding when people approach me at Craft Shows or through convos here at Etsy and compliment my work. It makes it all worth it to me. Hope you enjoy browsing and shopping at Morning Glories!

P.S. Please see our shop policies for exchanges, damages, shipping and accepted forms of payment and have a nice day!!
