I love fusing dichroic and art glass. The process is long, but oh, so rewarding! I am pulled out of bed each morning with a childlike excitement to see what I will find when I open my kiln and behold my newest creations. I love taking an idea and turning it into a solid item of beauty that I can hold in my hand. Mt Baldy Glassworks was founded in 2005 by Libbi Shorts, who combines her skills of ten years of experience in glass work and jewelry design to produce a distinctive line of artwork for the body and the home.

I out grew my small studio in my Mt Baldy, CA two years ago and moved into a very large studio space above my husbands warehouse in Fontana, CA. I have 4 kilns and saws and grinders and hundreds of pounds of of art glass. The beginning classes last 4 hours and each student will have the opportunity to assemble as many pendants as they can fit on their portion of the kiln shelf/ I schedule classes to meet your schedule.
