When I was little, I was the kid sitting on the floor of the classroom creating Lilliputians from scraps of paper left over from other students' crafts.

That talent of making 'something out of nothing' served me well living overseas when it came to decorating and creating holiday presents.

After several years of putting my crafting dreams on hold because of career goals and grad school, I'm ready to get back to doing what my heart desires - creating wonderful original crafts.

My idea for Wine Cork Letters came when a friend showed me a huge bag of corks she had saved for years. As she held each cork she told me stories of where that bottle of wine came from, who she was with while she enjoyed it, and other memories. Who knew a cork could say so much?!

I select every wine and champagne cork carefully to bring out the spirit of the letter - celebrating not only the joy of life, friends, and laughter, but the lasting memories of a good bottle of wine.
