About

My passion for design was instilled in me by the wonderful men and women in my life. I have fond memories of my Mom and I putting together our handcrafted creations sold at fairs in our area.

My life has been filled with love and laughter. I’m blessed to have a wonderful husband, family and great friends. Their love of GOD and their simplistic way of seeing beauty in all things have been of great influence. They have been supportive and have encouraged me to pursue my dreams, to create works of art and to open my Etsy shop.

My Dad has a wonderful way of putting words together to tell a story. I love listening to stories of how my parents worked together building our first home. I treasure times spent listening about his childhood during the days of the depression and time in the Navy during the days of Pearl Harbor. They're meaningful and must be shared with…

They're meaningful and must be shared with future generations.

My Mother's true passion is her writing. Her beautiful poetry marks events of all occasions. I treasure time spent going through books of her written words. She filled the rooms in our home with music. I remember Mom teaching us how to dance on beautifully polished oak floors in our living room as little kittens slid across the floors. My love for God, family, friends and a romantic home were instilled in me from the creative women and men in my family.

My life has been blessed with a rich history of hard working and talented men and women. I am proud to be the first grandchild. Both my Mother's parents arrived to the United States from Denmark. My father's parents arrived from Ireland and Germany. All of them making their way cross country to settle in the state of Wisconsin. A seamstress and homemaker, a farmer and shoe maker, a barber, landlord and small business owner, a homemaker, telephone operator and my Grandfathers business partner.

Many days were spent at Grandma's home singing while she played the piano and my aunts play the accordion. As a child I watched my Grandmother, Aunts and my Mother around Grandma’s old oak dining room table. I’d hear them laughing as they lay out the material and pattern for a pretty dress. They’d sit at the table, knitting needles in hand; making those warm winter mittens we each received every year for Christmas.

My Grandmother's love and creativity showed in all the hand crafted gifts we received and the beautiful flower gardens she designed. During the warm days of summer she’d grab her old garden gloves, fill her galvanized bucket with water, then her and I would go out and pick the most beautifully, fragrant flowers. We’d place them in milk bottles filled with water, and set our floral picks for centerpieces on the dining room table and around the house. Her garden was packed full of sweet peas, peonies, roses, gladiolas, dahlia’s, snowballs and pansies. You’ll find many of my Grandmothers favorite flowers in my designs.

I am very thankful and have been blessed with many gifts from God. I appreciate the wonderful men and women he had surround me throughout my life. How lucky can one girl be *smiles*

Please join me on this wonderful journey of discovery.

Blessings, Love and Peace,
