Ashley Rivero's Profile

About

I've always been drawn to the simple beauty of nature which continually surrounds us, but, so often, goes unnoticed. The resilience of a single flower which appears proudly between sidewalk cracks...that sort of thing. More specifically, I enjoy focusing on nature's diversity as it exists on the Louisiana Gulf Coast, which , in so many ways, sustains us in unique and individual ways. Even the simplest cast-off elements of our natural resources/miracles in nature such as oyster shells, which are discarded after extracting the luscious seafood that lies within, are natural artists' pallets which provide an excellent medium for creations, which I call, "Jewels of the Sea."
