I live in Russia, in Rostov-on-Don. This is not far from Sochi, where is going to be the Winter Olympic Games in 2014. Rostov-on-Don is a rather big city, it is considered to be the capital of the South of Russia and it has approximately 1.5 million people.
I spent my childhood in a small village on the bank of the Black Sea, where, accompanied by the noise of the sea, I loved to compose fairy tales. The old oak was the greatest friend of my, who still keeps all my secrets. Every time when I come here, I tell him all the news.

I liked to paint and had a habit to paint on everything. I think being an artist is my mission.
I graduated from the Youth Art School and then was keen on batik. I took private lessons from the artist Olga Batini, now she left to Canada and lives in Toronto.
In 2002 I graduated from the Moscow International Design School and worked on creating of the design projects for private luxury suites. I mastered the techniques of ceramics and glass painting.
For the design of luxury suites, the ceramic bars and glasses for the internal doors were painted by me. I also created the author’s lamp from the materials which the sea gives out during the storm.
Batik and Nano Felting are the techniques which I seriously have been using for 10 years. The sort of art which I do can be named as The Poetry of Fiber, because besides the wool and silk I use the linen, the coconut, the banana, the hemp and many other fibers. When I work on new project, l loose the sense of time and can work 4-5 hours without any break.
In my works I use only natural materials. Silk and wool from the world famous producers of the best quality. I use the professional batik paints which are ecologically safe and are produced on the water base without using any solvents or acids.
My dream is to dress women in natural (silk and woolen), ecologically safe cloth, to underline the beauty and uniqueness of every woman of our planet.
Every day I wake up with a happy thought, that the new day has come. My fantasy brings me the pictures which I eager to bring to life. I always wonder, when just using a piece of white silk and small tuft of colored wool, I can make an aerial and weightless scarf or tippet which resembles the small warm cloud. I imagine that it can be put on in the theatre or restaurant or even for a walk.
