About

I’ve been making beaded jewelry for about 7 or 8 years now. I love rocks, pearls, shells and pretty shiny things. The steampunk genre caught my eye and I made my first piece. Next thing you know, a monster was born.

I have had a love of rocks since I was a small girl. My folks gave me a tumbler when I was around 7 or 8. We lived in SW Colorado then and if you've ever been to the area, you know there are a plethora of semi-precious gems and interesting rocks just lying around waiting for a young girl to pick them up. I ran that tumbler 24-7 and eventually ran out the motor. I discovered boys right around the time the motor ran out and forgot my love of rocks until I started making jewelry and fiddling around with rocks again.

Rocks led to, well, other stuff. Like Steampunk. I am having so much fun with this genre and you can expect much…

Rocks led to, well, other stuff. Like Steampunk. I am having so much fun with this genre and you can expect much more from me as I hone my metalsmithing skills and combine my love of rocks with my newfound love of metal and steam technology. I always did love the Victorian age as well so this is just a perfect style for me to play around with.

Also expect the "Urban Tribal" and "Amazing Grace" (religious iconography) collections coming real soon now. Oh for more hours in a day.

One last note... I'm a large woman and I create jewelry that looks good on me. Which is not to say that it won't look good on a more petite woman, but those of you who are larger than thou will find that my jewelry will fit you nicely. If you want something a little smaller or larger, just send me measurements and for a small fee I might be able to adjust the piece for you (if you want it larger it depends on availability of beads). I wish I could just set a price but really the piece will dictate how much work it will be to make the adjustment.
