About

Hi I'm Rebecca. I'm a mother of two grown boys and a grandmother of 3 adorable grandsons and 1 granddaughter. They are my life and my joy! And so is making toys for all of them!
I honestly can't remember a time when I wasn't crafting, painting, sculpting or sewing. So it was natural with wee ones in our lives again that toys would become my passion.

I work full time for my oldest son's construction company. My daily life can be very stressful so my mind is constantly wandering back to my passion in life creating toys. As a matter of fact my office is filled with toys of all sorts. You are never too old to enjoy them, and I believe playing keeps you young.

As a matter of fact we as a whole family are big on goofing around and playing. We have an annual water gun war/fight every summer, and a crazy wonderful (confetti egg) Easter egg…

As a matter of fact my office is filled with toys of all sorts. You are never too old to enjoy them, and I believe playing keeps you young.

As a matter of fact we as a whole family are big on goofing around and playing. We have an annual water gun war/fight every summer, and a crazy wonderful (confetti egg) Easter egg hunt every year that is too much fun. The kids look so forward to this event because big or small everyone is at risk of getting a confetti egg cracked over their head....for good luck of course!

Ask any child and I promise you that playing with mom and dad or grandma and grandpa would be one of their top fun things to do. There are no better ways to create wonderful memories as a family then to play together.Life is too short to be serious! That's why every spare minute I find is filled with sewing or designing my next toy.

Not long ago my sister in law Brenda Jones came on board to help me fill orders. I'm very lucky to have her she is an amazing seamstress and has a real eye for detail. I couldn't do it without her!

Since my grandson's are my inspiration and help me design, this is about them as much as it is me. I can not tell you what an absolute thrill it was to have been named one of Babble's Top 50 Etsy Parents Shops of 2012.

My toys have appeared in Babiekins magazine,Sweet Paul Magazine and Handmade Modern Child.

If it's still available you maybe able to find me on Babble answering a few questions as part of the Top 50 Etsy Parents Shops of 2012....here is a link to the most recent...http://www.babble.com/home/top-etsy-parents-stand-out-in-competitive-market/#use-high-quality-photos

I enjoy life, food especially pasta and a gooey roasted marshmallow over a evening campfire. Everything I create has been Grand-child tested and believe me they can painfully honest when I miss the mark!

A child's imagination is all you need to add to my toys......no batteries are ever required!!

Here are a few places my items have been featured: http://www.bellebebes.co.uk/ www.babiekinsmag.com ( fall 2011issue) as well as the print magazine summer of 2013 .www.modernhandmadechild.com (summer 2011issue)

In 2012 my shop was chosen by Babble.com as 2012 Top 50 Etsy Parents Shop!
