Georgianne Holland's Profile

About

Welcome to my shop! I am fiber artist Georgianne Holland and I create under the name of Nestle And Soar. My passion is to create eco-chic, luxurious handmade home decor. Handmade fiber art pillows, vintage-framed needle felt, and art with words are always in progress on my worktable. You will often find birds and trees in my work...love them!

I am located in the Denver/Boulder area of Colorado. I teach and create from my art studio there. The best-selling items from my studio are CUSTOM ORDERS, and that is great because I get a lot of satisfaction by making a special item for a specific person: a person like you! Drop me a convo note and see how easy it is to arrange for your own custom piece.

My art focuses on the organic images of nests, birds, trees and leaves, flowers, and vines. I use organic and sustainable materials. I capture the beauty of trees, birds, and nature and work to be eco-friendly in my art and my life. I am always hoping for a bird's eye view!

Why did I name my studio Nestle and Soar? My fiber art is all about creating using "soft" energy. To "nestle" is to settle down comfortably, to press close for comfort or in affection. To "soar" is to glide along, to rise above the usual or ordinary level or bounds. When I soar, I trust in the breeze to keep me afloat.

Thank you for visiting NestleAndSoar. I hope to pass along some of this soft energy to you through my handmade items. You can visit my studio at http://www.nestleandsoar.blogspot.com
