Hi, my name is Patsy (some shorten that to Pats) and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I started beading and making jewelry when my boys were little...way back when...before there ever was an Etsy site. Back then most of my jewelry made it’s way into my own jewelry box, or was gifted to friends and family. Aside from doing a few craft shows, most of my creative prowess served as a therapeutic outlet for this stay-at-home mom of young boys.

That was then. Today my boys are young adults and now my focus is different. My Etsy shop is still a way for me to continue doing something I love. It also helps ease the tension of the emptying nest and the stresses of growing older.

I believe the natural inclination towards creating is in all of us. For some of us it is our God given bent...something we just can't escape. I also believe that the origin of those creative abilities are placed there by God Himself. Not everyone will agree with me, but if we believe that God created the world, then we are emulating Him when we use our creative talents. I think that's pretty cool!

I also think it's pretty cool that there is a place called Etsy where a community of creative beings can get together and share their inspiriations!

Press on, my friends!

Even though my vintage shop is inactive now, I have also been known around Etsy as Old Mother's Cupboard...
