I have been making jewelry since I was a child. When I was a little girl my Mom would buy me the glass vials of beads from the store. I would bring them home and separate all the colors into different containers. From there I would string my beads on fishing wire. Everyone in the house had something I made. I am so fascinated by the colors in every bead. I know I sat for hours arranging and rearranging my beads. Then came the telephone wire of many colors. I would stop on the way home from school when I saw the telephone man fixing the wires in the box and ask for the wire that he was disgarding. I've been making jewelry for sale for the last 15 years. I lived in Winter Haven, Florida when I started selling my pieces. A friend of mine started buying a lot of my pieces and from there a client of hers, Fabrege, saw my bracelets and asked her if I would make some for their show. I did 20 bracelets. It was a one time deal but launched me into the selling world of making jewelry. The newspaper did an article on me and from there I sold my pieces to many stores.

Sometimes I feel like a crow gathering glittery jewels for my nest. If it sparkles, shines, or is unusual I want it.
