I’ve dreamed of starting my own jewelry business since 2004, after making my first bracelet at Simply Charmed in Hays, KS. Something about the colors, textures, materials, and artistic process really spoke to me. I am finally seeing that dream come to life!

Although I am trained as a biologist, I grew up around art. My grandfather is a sculpture artist who, at one time, specialized in bronze casting. I can remember spending much of my time in his studio sweeping, chasing wax, and generally getting in the way.

About

I’ve dreamed of starting my own jewelry business since 2004, after making my first bracelet at Simply Charmed in Hays, KS. Something about the colors, textures, materials, and artistic process really spoke to me. I am finally seeing that dream come to life!

Although I am trained as a biologist, I grew up around art. My grandfather is a sculpture artist who, at one time, specialized in bronze casting. I can remember spending much of my time in his studio sweeping, chasing wax, and generally getting in the way.

I now have my own private studio in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Perhaps a side effect of growing up around bronze, I love working in metal. Most of my pieces start as flat sheet or round wire metal, which I then form with hand tools or a flame. I frequently incorporate found or semiprecious stones into my work to add color and dimension.

I draw inspiration from shapes and processes found in nature, and human interactions with the Earth. I also love to experiment with the behavior of metal. Some of my pieces result from an afternoon of bending, hammering, heating, and forming the metal in different ways just to see what happens.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my work with you and hope you find something to love!
