About

I am a wife and mother of two. I enjoy skiing with my daughter, watching my son play baseball and spending time with my family. These handlebar bike bags have been an idea in my mind for a couple of years until I met a friend who taught me to make them. Now I help support my family while still being at home while my kids grow. I love the versatility of attaching these crossbody bags to your bike and wearing them hands-free. I think active women are happy to have their chap stick, cell phone and cash with them but not much else. These bike bags meet that need. "When you buy from a small mom business, you are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home. You are helping a little girl get dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey, a mom put food on the table, a dad pay a mortgage, or a student pay for college. Our customers are our shareholders- and they are the ones we strive to make happy. Thank you for supporting small businesses!" - unknown

Awhile back North End Threads donated two bags to a silent auction happening at a bicycle event in Oregon. They responded with the following statement, giving their impression upon receiving the bags:

"The Bicycle Transportation Alliance is so grateful for your donation of two of your lovely handlebar bags. When they arrived everyone remarked how well they're made. We also love that they look like a normal handbag when they're not on the bike. We're proud to have them in our auction and are sure they'll be snatched up right away! Thanks for supporting the BTA!"
