Bracelets always catch my eye - "the more the merrier," and I love beads!

Fumbling with clasps drives me nuts - my fingernails sometimes help, sometimes hinder, my wrists don't "swivel," and my fingers bend – “just so far." (I suspect arthritis is in my future...)

I've been collecting "vintage" beads for many years - entranced by their colors, shapes, weights, and textures.

Two "bead shops" flourished (for short periods of time) quite near my home, and then I began noticing beads for sale in all kinds of stores.

These new beads - mostly machine manufactured - are remarkable in their diversity! Tiny Swarovski crystal beads have an incredible sparkle! The handmade beads I occasionally find in two local boutiques near my home have incomparable earthy colors, unique shapes, and pleasing, often substantial weights...

So - several years ago I began spending hours arranging beads - stringing them on stretch cords, and making bracelets... hundreds of bracelets... for me, for my mother, for my sisters, for my friends… for birthdays, for holidays, and for no reasons at all...

We wear them individually and in multiples - in complimentary colors and varying hues, carefully matched and carelessly spectacular...

Eventually, I decided to add a new line to my bracelets, so now I'm having a wonderful time (when I'm not beading) creating unique bangles with covers and pictures from the pages of magazines and books.

I hope you might find one (or more!) of my one of a kind bracelets that you will enjoy wearing!

By-the-way...
My business is "NovelBracelets" because each bracelet is "novel," each bracelet I sell is delivered wrapped in the page of a novel, and in "real life" I'm a librarian.
