My curiosity throughout the years has let me wander through clothing, home accessories and quilts, finding new challenges, testing new techniques and always drawing on my love of color to complete the piece.

In college I stumbled in to the ceramics department, eager and curious, willing to trade elbow grease for art supplies and started on my muddy pottery path.
And now, after many years of playing in the mud I still find joy in squishing clay between my fingers, now making plates for fresh baked pies and continue to laugh loud.

I have a deep love of function, a wide appreciation of color and a tiny weak spot for fragile textures. I design all my work with a strong sense tradition, a dash of whimsy, and a lasting personal imprint.
