About

For the most part of my life, you would find me living and working in the beautiful Pacific NW in Oregon, next to the waters that flow into the ocean...and loving it!

The "rat race" is no longer a race I care to run, and I have decided that a simplified way of living is a better way of life. I have been able set up my Oregon based studio/boutique, Oceanside Studio, creating ladies accessories such as hats and jewelry. The need to be creative, for me, is like the need to breathe.

Going back to school as a mature student to study design and immerse myself in all of the creative course work I could was one of my best decisions. After obtaining my degree, it was time to put on my paint-splattered business cap and get started on the new creative endeavors that would fulfill my need to make beautiful treasures…

Being a part of the return to handmade is truly special and Etsy has given us a fantastic venue in which to celebrate the hand crafted marketplace. As I have been traveling between my US studio in Oregon and my UK studio in Surrey for the last several years, finding Etsy has meant that I can display my creations in one location regardless of which ever studio I happen to be working from.

I have returned to my Oregon studio from the friendly community of Meadvale, Surrey UK. While working out of my Tin Treehouse(UK) Studio, I was able to spend time learning the skills of silversmithing from Joy Meyers of Jewels of Joy. With her 25 years of experience creating beautiful silver objects. She is a fabulous mentor and I am learning to creating some lovely little treasures in a medium that I love.
Keep checking back to see what is new. Do you have an idea of something you would like but just can't find, let me know and we can work together to make it a reality for you!

Custom commissions are my primary source of business and have been the inspiration for several of the items you will find in my shops.

And it is with ALL MY LOVE THAT I SAY....THANK YOU ALL FOR SUPPORTING HANDMADE! Your support of the return to the handcrafted marketplace will make the world better for us all, and I can't help but spread that joy to everyone I deal with.

THANK YOU.
