Hannah's Profile

About

I love old wives tales! There are so many out there (bet you know a few without really thinking about it) they seem to be a very strong part of our culture, warning us of hidden dangers through folklore and stories and fun ones that will tell us the sex of an unborn child, there are so many variations.
I like to find the every day and the unusual and use them as inspiration for my work.
Following this trend, I also use a lot of nature and wildlife within my work. I find the two go hand in hand often.
My illustration picks up on tradition, line, sayings, the outdoors and much much more.
Living here in Wales is the perfect location where I am lucky enough to watch wild foxes, badgers and owls play in my garden (but not all together, now that would be amazing).
