About

Welcome to our little Mother / Daughter sewing venture! We got our start with Barbara, the "Mother", making our pastel chenille quilt as baby shower gifts. Soon she was asked by other shower attendees if she sold the quilts. Knowing Jennifer, the "Daughter", was looking for a creative outlet, Barbara asked if they should start sewing together. That was back in 2003......and it has been evolving ever since.

Over the years, we have expanded from crib quilts into home decor quilts and table runners, tote bags and zipper pouches, and baby gift sets. Barbara is a retired college Math professor and Jennifer works full-time in NYC, but makes time to sew on weekends. We do have typical Mother Daughter disagreements over fabrics, but in the end, we hope that we appeal to a wide variety of tastes with our quilts. Jennifer's daughter Ryan (8 years old) has the crafting / sewing bug as she helps her mother sew. Ryan has started making pillows and loves selecting the fabrics she uses.
