About

Hello, my name is Paula J Countryman, also known as the Emerald Eyed Lady because of my green eyes.
I believe in growing as kindly as possible, and sustaining our earth. My Cherokee Indian heritage tells me to always put back something I borrowed and not to let anything go to waste, or as my German mother used to tell her daughters about any type of materials, 'patch it up, use it up, and wear it out!" Of course that went along with "Clean up after yourself, Your mother doesn't work here" LOL

I cannot lie. I love jewelry. Not your expensive diamonds or jewels, but semi precious stones, copper, faceted glass and czech beads, sterling silver, brass, pewter, bohemian style jewelry, hemp, feathers, wire wrapped, hemp, refurbished vintage costume jewelry, and anything unusual or colorful. I am open to learning everything I can about beading and creating beautiful items, so when a challenge is put in front of me, I will study it in books, pictures, and of course on youtube!.

Presently, I am learning all about wire wrapping, It is a great way to use up all my wrapping wire in addition to my stones and beads and make room for more! I also love to crochet wire even though it takes a lot to do so, the results are amazingly beautiful.

Still, my niche seems to be my crochet necklaces that stands out the most in my shop, and I want to give my customers something not only to love, but as a treasured keepsake for years to come. And I enjoy making these creations too!

Thanks for looking at my handiwork! I accept suggestions and tips gladly!:)
