Welcome to Ollie and Rose. Here's a brief on how my shop got started... I took my first sewing class in middle school, where I made a plush whale. I continued taking sewing in high school and stopped sewing until I had my kids. I picked sewing back up as a creative outlet and a way to have some "mom" time.

Each creature I make is truly one of a kind and has a personality all their own (most of my creations are inspired by my kids). I do not use a pattern for anything I make. I have a vision and draw it up and my lovely husband helps me cut it out.

I'm just as passionate about the environment as I am sewing, so I create eco-friendly items, using a variety of materials such as upcycled sweaters, vintage and upcycled fabrics (all prewashed by me), vintage buttons, eco felt, fleece, poly fill, and anything else I have that can add to the appearance of the…

I'm just as passionate about the environment as I am sewing, so I create eco-friendly items, using a variety of materials such as upcycled sweaters, vintage and upcycled fabrics (all prewashed by me), vintage buttons, eco felt, fleece, poly fill, and anything else I have that can add to the appearance of the item. I love to use vintage buttons, but if you see something you would love for your little one I am able to replace the buttons with eco-felt or fleece, no problem. Just let me know.

Although I sometimes need to use something new to complete a creation, I try to keep it to a minimum. I do what I can to encorporate as much pre-used material as possible to each creation. I even try to find uses for my scraps to reduce waste on this beatuiful planet we share.

Please enjoy looking through my creations and sold orders, and if there is something you don't see, but would like to, please let me know... I love a challenge (and custom orders)! Thanks. Please visit my facebook page www.facebook.com/ollieandrose13
