My profile picture was taken in Vanuatu, martini at hand. So, sometimes I'm Out of Hand in Vanuatu or wherever I happen to find myself. I recently retired from psychiatric nursing. I am on the road to taking up my passion for creating jewelry full time.
In addition to my self taught wire work, I studied lampwork bead making with John Winter and Linday Hunnicutt at John Campbell Folkart School in North Carolina
I was born and raised in the Adirondack foothills. I graduated from little old Fort Ann Central in Fort Ann, New York where our entire art student population was 5 students in the high school.
I made and sold hand dipped, Colonial style candles at my store Adirondack Chandler in Essex New York with my business partner, Shelle Bailey (who is an amazing artist in her own right.) I sold this business and I moved from the Adirondack mountains of New York state to Nevada and found my western home…

My jewelry comes out of my love of nature and Spirit. Each year I make a resolution to do something that I have been afraid to do. I have learned to rock climb, canoe, kayak and travel with no specific destination. This is my year to put my creations out on the web and to create what I love.
