About

Hi, Thanks for visiting PlanetDigs2.

I live in the state of Connecticut. We experiences all of the seasons here. Each season brings new things to see, smell and enjoy.
I love nature. It brings me great happiness.

I have taught many areas of science. The disciplines of Meteorology and Geology are two of my favorites. I love learning about the earth and all of its mysteries.

I have been creating art since I was a child. I have tried my hand at painting in oils and acrylic. At one point I became involved with photography. Even developing my own film. I also loved making pottery. Jewelry is my weakness. I continue to make jewelry and have picked up drawing and painting again. My personal style is more rustic and Bohemian. However, I…

However, I try to craft different styles for my shop that will hopefully appeal to all tastes. I would be glad to make a custom piece of jewelry for you, just contact me.

I started "PlanetDigs" Jewelry and Art in the 1980's. The name PlanetDigs, reflects the origin of my favorite materials. The name also represents the areas of science that I have studied and taught about for years.

I began collecting pottery, jewelry, rocks, minerals and fossils years ago, I continue to add to my collections. I started using the earth materials that I either purchased or came across during my travels and flea market trips. Natural minerals and rocks are incorporate in my designs as well as other favorite materials.

I have always loved flea markets and now I have more time to frequent them. My goal is to look for old, interesting "finds" and use them in something new or pass them on for others to use in their creations.

I started incorporating Vintage finds in to my PlanetDigs2 Shop. Once a separate shop, VintageArtifacts2 is now part of PlanetDigs2. One stop shopping :-)

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a great day,
Laura :)
