About

Greetings,
Our family has been living in the middle of the vast hard wood forests of north central Pennsylvania since 1824. This area is designated as the “Pennsylvania Wilds” and is world famous for the premium oak, cherry, maple and other hard wood species that grow here. Our hometown (pop ~2,000) is situated precisely on the continental divide on top of the Allegheny Mountains and is home to abundant wildlife including the largest free roaming herd of wild Elk east of the Mississippi.
I’ve been doing woodworking for over 40 years and have been honored with awards and featured in area papers. The lumber used is grown locally and processed by local sawmills thus helping our economy. About

Greetings,
Our family has been living in the middle of the vast hard wood forests of north central Pennsylvania since 1824.
I have a particular interest in the Civil War (the famous Bucktail Regiment was formed right here) and make reproduction period items as well as repair / refurbish antiques. You will often see the Victorian era influence in my original designs. I personally do the woodworking. My dear wife and a close friend collaborate with me to do the “needle work” for my projects and to create their own items. I often modify the details of my original designs from piece to piece as the mood takes me so typically there are no two exactly alike. I’m captivated by the story an antique tells. Towards that purpose I use the best materials, build robustly and strive to create an item that will endure as an heirloom.

I’m always interested in making new and unique items. If you have a something special you would like made or reproduced please feel free to contact me. If you plan to enjoy a visit to our area I would be happy to show you some pictures of larger unlisted items.

Best regards,
Jesse.
