Our family has been living in the middle of the vast hard wood forests of north central Pennsylvania since 1824. This area is designated as the “Pennsylvania Wilds” and is world famous for the premium oak, cherry, maple and other hard wood species that grow here. Our hometown (pop ~2,000) is situated precisely on the continental divide on top of the Allegheny Mountains and is home to abundant wildlife including the largest free roaming herd of wild Elk east of the Mississippi.
I’ve been doing woodworking for over 40 years and have been honored with awards and featured in area papers. The lumber used is grown locally and processed by local sawmills thus helping our economy.
