I'm a stay at home mom to an adorable almost 2 year old little boy and wife to my wonderful husband.  My husband works an odd shift, being in emergency services, so crafting is what I do with all of my alone time, which all of you mom's out there know isn't very much with a little one running around.  I've been scrapbooking since I was in high school (over 15 years, wow!) and over the years I've taken my love for  scrapbooking to a different level and I guess you could say became more of a crafter.  Over this time I've become a little obsessed with the crafting possibilities you have with scrapbook paper and one day stumbled upon decoupage.  The idea of creating all of these fabulous pieces of furniture, plates, or even walls using paper amazed me.  A while after this decoupage discovery I was planning a surf/beach themed baby shower and didn't want it to be your ordinary seashell, netting, sand type of decorations, instead I wanted a more modern decor with surfboards, woody cars and flowers.  Well after days of searching through baby shower ideas I stumbled across a square planter box with "baby" painted on the front, this idea eventually turned into the surf/beach themed wood blocks!!  From there I was hooked on the idea of using wood blocks for home decor and party decor. Soon after i saw a crafter use pieces of tile and decoupage photos on them and so began my journey into photo blocks. After creating them just for friends and family I was convinced by these same family and friends to create them for others and here I am♥♥♥
