Hello, I am so happy that you are wanting to know a little more about me! Let's see, where do I start...
My artistic imagination as been with me since I was a child. Nothing would make me more happier than a stack of crayons and a coloring book. In fact,I learned how to color inside of the lines at an exceptionally early age.
I have been making stuffed animals for approximately 8 years now. Before that, I predominately drew portraits of people and/or their pets. Drawing is very rewarding for me but artistically speaking, nothing is better than turning my ideas into an actual 3-D form. The whole sewing process is very uplifting.

The "Biscuit Buddies" design was inspired by my cherished summer memories spent with my late grandmother, Thelma in the rural parts of Arkansas. She grew her own fruits and vegetables and made all of her food from scratch. What I can vividly remember most, was my grandmother's delicious, homemade biscuits that would just simply melt in your mouth. Anybody who was in the process of eating one of these tasty, biscuit treats would leave all of their worries outside of their taste buds. In dedication to my beloved grandmother, I came up with a "toy biscuit" version of her homemade biscuits. The variety of colors that make up the 'Biscuit Buddies" collection, represents the happiness I felt while baking with my grandmother.

I hope they make you smile! (:
