Paula Barry's Profile

About

My work reflects my life. Summers at the ocean, gardening and love of animals are an unconscious influence. The patterns formed by waves in the sand are reflected in my work, as well as the different stages of plant growth and flower blossoms. The influence of Van Gogh, and Dr. Seuss’ “the Grinch Who Stole Christmas” are also apparent.

Much of my training has come from several Art and Craft centers, and I attend workshops whenever possible.
I work in both porcelain and stoneware clay bodies. I enjoy creating my work on the potters wheel and making my own glazes.
