Cindy Vandiver's Profile

About

Hi, my name is Cindy Vandiver and I am an illustrator, photographer and sculptor living in Arizona.

This shop is the result of a lifelong love of animals especially the lost or homeless ones. Yes, I was one of those kids that would bring home every stray dog, homeless kitten or baby bird that had fallen out of the nest. My mother supported me in my mission (even though I now realize that she was the one that did most of the work - thanks Mom - you are my hero!)

Fast forward to the present day - my husband, Matt & I volunteer at our local animal shelter. We take photographs of the adoptable dogs and cats - to be used on the shelter's website (in the hope of finding homes for all.) Our county shelter is the 2nd largest in the country -they take in 50,000 dogs & cats each year…

We take photographs of the adoptable dogs and cats - to be used on the shelter's website (in the hope of finding homes for all.) Our county shelter is the 2nd largest in the country -they take in 50,000 dogs & cats each year.

All of our prints started out as portrait photographs of the shelter dogs & cats. I transform them through the use of my digital paintbrush into colorful pop art prints.

Each print is a signed, numbered edition of 100. When they are sold out, they will not be reprinted. Each print will have a white border around the image which will contain the signature and number.

I hope that our art will bring back fond memories of a beloved pet, remind you of a special friend or perhaps - inspire you to adopt a new best friend.

We will donate 10% of every sale to our local animal shelter - your purchase will help to provide comfort and support to these homeless pets. "Adopt" three prints and receive free shipping.
