About

Being a forth generation Wyomingite, I cannot help but love the beauty that surrounds me every day here in Wyoming. From the smallest flower, to the majestic peaks of the mountains, and everything in between.

My Great Grandfather traveled alone to Wyoming from Connecticut when he was just 16 and settled here. He had the privilege of voting for Statehood. With that in mind, the rustic old homesteads that dot the landscape along the highways on the long stretches between towns, always make me say "I bet that place could tell a few stories."

I went to school to study for my profession of Graphic Design, but I've always had a love for photography. In September 2002, my husband and I adopted two 8-week old golden retriever puppies. Brothers, Nugget and Comanche, from the very first day, would pose patiently while I took their photo. They soon got used to me saying “sit…stay”, followed by numerous clicks of the camera, and finally the “ok” meant they could go about their playful antics of the moment. They were the inspiration for Paws Fur a Moment Photography™.

In the past few years, the digital age of photography has shown me the limitless possibilities this medium provides. With the instant gratification of knowing whether or not a photo is a “keeper”, I soon began taking photos of not only Nugget and Comanche, but the world around them here in Wyoming.

I love capturing and sharing the beauty of Wyoming and the surrounding area. I invite you to "pause for a moment" and take a look around our shop. Thanks for stopping by!
