I am celebrating my ninth year of being a breast cancer survivor. My love for art has become a therapy for me and an encouragement for others. My whimsical style calls to the youth in all of us to remember brighter stress free times and to hold fast our hope for a brighter future. The Indian in me lends a hand to my eclectic collection of artwork as well....
I am currently single, have 2 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, and a twelve year old Jack Russell terrier. I am also a new Nana! Before cancer I was an avid teacher of people. I home schooled my oldest, taught elderly craft classes, taught handicapped children and adults, participated in numerous church/youth activities, taught in a Christian School (primarily high school), and taught in a local junior college.
