About

Claudia and Kim (mother and daughter) together = PeachWillow.

Mother has worked in the jewelry design business for over 40 years, and is now retired. She still has that passion to create and design. She used to spend time at the Dallas jewelry markets purchasing for the jewelry store she worked with, and many hours in the shop designing and repairing jewelry. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of me sitting in the shop with her, watching as she bent her head over her diamond bench, monocle over her glasses, setting stones in a ring, while I twirled around on the shop stool, and maybe getting to engrave something for her, or hand out a shop repair to a customer. I have many pieces that she has designed over the years, and has now handed down to me, which I absolutely cherish.

I have a love of making things, watching things grow, change, and evolve into something beautiful. This includes all things in life, like children, which lead me into raising my two wonderful children, and into my high school teaching career; gardening, which created my love of filling my flower beds with beautiful blooming and green things; sewing, which allowed me to create my family's clothes, house decorations, and many, many things for my family and friends. I also like to rummage through junk shops, antique stores, and rummage sales, seeing what can be salvaged and reused in different ways.

We actually started our Etsy shop because we are both passionate about creating, and want to share our creations with others. We had also stumbled onto this amazing process of making our own jewelry beads using simple organic materials.

When making our handmade organic bead pieces, we process our beads one at a time, individually painting and sanding each one by hand and then sealing them so that they are durable and water resistant.

Take your time and browse through our shop, check out our handmade organic jewelry, and our other designs that are made from crystals or pearls, to which we may have added a swirl of silver here and there for interest and creativity.

Thanks for stopping by, and may God bless you in all your endeavors!
