Photography and polymer clay work have been lifelong passions of mine. I remember the first roll of film that I shot on a grammar school field trip to the Getty Museum (which is now the Getty Villa), and I never stopped shooting since then. My photographs are inspired by a vintage aesthetic, and some are shot with vintage cameras or shot on film.

My grandfather taught me how to work with polymer clay when I was really young, and we started by making miniatures for my dollhouse. His father had been a famous Hollywood artist, and had taught him about working with clay. Once I started getting a little older, my grandfather and I started experimenting with making jewelry out of polymer clay. He taught me the technique that I currently use in my jewelry design. We were inspired by a lot of the jewelry he found in Venice, Italy, and felt that the technique would translate well with polymer clay.

I love all things vintage, and use vintage findings for my jewelry which gives each piece a unique look. Every flower and design is hand sculpted and no molds or forms are ever used. As a result, each piece is completely one of a kind.

I live in Redondo Beach, CA with my husband and our 5 pets. My husband and I have a shared passion for photography, hiking, snowboarding, biking, hot tea, digging through vintage stores and flea markets, wandering through gardens, and about a million other things. I love cooking, sewing, embroidery, painting, sketching, gardening, and of course photography and jewelry sculpting.
