Hello and welcome to PennyRoyal Farm!
SPINNING - I describe myself as a fiber artist. My aunt taught me to crochet when I was little and my sister taught me to knit when I was a teenager. I taught myself to tat from a book. I looked at the illustrations and diagrams in a mirror because I'm left-handed.
Then, my mom taught me to spin in the 1970's during the height of the Bicentennial craze. There was no going back after that. I love to spin! MINIATURES - My fascination with miniatures began, again, with my mom. She painstakingly recreated her treasured antique furniture in dollhouse scale. I learned from her the attention to detail that separates a scale miniature from a child's toy. I sometimes feel like Alice in Wonderland when I get lost in my miniatures!
