MY EXPERIENCE..
I have been knitting since the age of 5 and now I get the opportunity to knit for my 2 year old daughter! She proudly claims "momma made this"! I like to knit slouch hats mainly because I have A LOT of hair and they work well for that in the winter! Also, it usually takes one solid skein of a nice yarn, preferably 200 yards of malabrigo wool, to make a hat and Voila...a beautiful garment! I love to try making new things and that keeps me entertained! Creating patterns is lots of fun! I LOVE TO MAKE DREADLOCK HATS!!! I have many friends with dreads, despite not having any myself (unless I don't brush it for a day or two!)... you want a custom order for you very long or newbie dreads?…

Despite my career as a Registered Nurse (in labor and delivery), I deem myself the “perpetual knitter” because I just can’t seem to stop knitting!! With a taste for fine yarns, organic material and a strong desire to support local farmers and knitting shops..I frequent many RI and CT alpaca farms as well as yarn shops across New England. Much of my yarn is purchased from Etsy by people who spin it , dye it and reclaim it from other garments. I try to use natural material as often as possible! My garments are part of a local "community artist collection" shared by friends creating in various mediums with the goal of being "green".

Everything you see here has been made out of love and quality yarn. I do not not make a living out of selling my knitted goods. Hat’s take several hours to create, dresses take several days. I am fully addicted to knitting and just want to support the hobby and get my projects worn by people. Please read my FEEDBACK as I have maintained a lengthy list of happy customers!!
