About

When I was a girl of about 8 or 9, I remember discovering a small fabric store within walking distance of my home. I would visit often, fingering the fabrics, admiring the colors and patterns. As a teenager, I learned to sew from Sr. Lockhart and made my first items, including an apron and a skirt, which I wore for years. Today, I'm a special education teacher. But, at night, I still play with fabrics and work to fulfil my desire to create something lovely.
