Al and Linda's Profile

About

Hello,

Al and Linda are a husband and wife.....and sometimes a team.....and sometimes not, to which a quick perusal of the site will attest.

They are not fond of writing in the third person. As a matter of fact one of them (Linda) is not fond of writing in the first or second person either. So all the writing (and photos and dichroic glass) are done by Al, who is me. Farwell to the sly and self-promoting third person(s).

Even though Linda is not fond of writing, she is fond.....no....beyond fond....one might say compelled… to express her creative self in other ways and in every way. About

From the time she gets up in the morning ‘til her head hits the pillows at night there is something in her hands and her head that she is creating. At night, I enjoy a good book….Linda likes to crochet herself to sleep.

In addition to this site, she has another site on etsy, 'Hairlooms' where she shows and sells "Eclectic Hair Finery For The Discriminating Eye". All of the creations and designs are original and created by her own two hands and her own two (or more) minds, as is all of the feather work on this site. Currently, the site is on vacation, as Linda has taken all of her 'hairlooms' to a show. If you are in theOswego, NY area, you can find Linda at the Sterling Renaissance Festival and Summer Marketplace in Sterling NY on weekends.. Tell her Al sent you.

Linda and I have been involved in the Crafts community and business for around 30 years. We have done, and continue to do Fine Art shows, Craft shows, and Themed events across the Country. I also have a Consulting firm, InterActive Crafts Management which provides services to both the Crafts community and those who manage events involving craftspeople.

Over the years, Linda has won many awards at various street shows and themed events, both for her jewelry, and her displays. I was awarded a US Patent for a chair that I designed and produced, and I won a stuffed turtle at a carnival once for making a balloon pop.

We both believe that our longevity and success in the business is due to the core values that we learned in our early years…..quality, originality, and customer service.

To experience the originality aspect, take a look at our many original designs in our shop. To experience the quality of our work, you would have to hold a piece in your hands.

But to experience our dedication to customer service, you need go no further. If you've read this far you deserve a reward if you become a customer (actually, you deserve a reward even if you don't, but I don't have any way to reward you....but I digress....)

When you check out with your purchase (a necessary step to become a customer) enter the phrase "Iknowyou" (I know you) in the coupon code box and we will pay the shipping!
