Thanks for checking out my items on etsy. While I enjoy creating things, I also enjoy making people happy who purchase something for a special gift for a loved one. Please see my feedback. Many people have given me very kind compliments and I have shipped items all over, from Europe to Australia.

I've always liked to build things, and started woodworking in earnest about 10 years ago. I do a variety of woodworking, including scroll sawing craft type items, which are primarily the items I sell. I also like to make small boxes, such as jewelry boxes, plus small to medium sized pieces of furniture, especially in the Arts & Crafts style. I also like to make clocks and usually have a few listed on etsy. I also enjoy doing stained glass and will occasionally incorporate a stained glass panel into my woodworking items.

Recently, I kicked my woodworking up a notch and am making Maloof style rocking chairs. These are a challenge but are very rewarding to make. Each chair typically takes about 200 hours to make and fitting the parts requires exacting tolerances. Sam Maloof's chairs are more a work of art than furniture and I strive towards that same goal. If you are not familiar with the work of Sam Maloof, google his name and you will be amazed.

I attempt to ship items within 24 hours and most of the time, I ship by Priority Mail for quick delivery and, in my experience, better package handling. The larger and more expensive items are usually shipped via UPS and are insured. If you live outside of the US, contact me for a shipping rate before buying. I also have to list your country in the listing for the purchase to go through.
