About

About twenty years ago I needed to go back to work. . . three children, a dog, a mortgage, car payments, life. . . . I started my own gardening business because I wanted to be able to make my own schedule and be home when the kids got home from school.

Most of these photographs are the culmination of a lot of wonderful, meditative hours spent in many different gardens, including mine. How lucky I have been to able to dig in the dirt, have the heat of the sun on my back and birds as my music (who needs an ipod).

"The kiss of the sun for pardon.
The song of the bird for mirth.
One is nearer God's heart in a garden.
Than anywhere else on Earth".
