About

Hi and welcome to my shop! I’m JACQUE PIERRO, of PIERRO STUDIOS. I’m an artist and designer who graduated with a BFA, with an emphasis on fashion design and fashion illustration, from the COLUMBUS COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN located in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

I started my 20-year art career freelancing as a fashion designer and fashion illustrator for a local independent clothing company. I then took a turn in my career when I accepted a position with the WALT DISNEY ANIMATION COMPANY in Orlando, Florida where I worked as an animator for seven years on films such as MULAN, TARZAN, LILO AND STITCH, BROTHER BEAR, THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, and other short films produced by the company.

With my love for fashion and strong design my husband, John, and I opened PIERRO STUDIOS where I have been an independent artist and designer working on my own line of products that I have licensed out to manufacturing companies from around the world. With the disappointment of the mass-market production, poor quality products, and the lack of direct contact with customers I decided to pull my products from the market so I could change direction to create my designs with my own two hands. This gives me the ability to oversee the vision of my artwork, designs, and the overall quality that I expect in all of my products for each of my customers. It gives me great satisfaction to be part of every aspect of the creative, production, and the business side of the company, with the best part being, the ability to build direct customer relationships with each and every one you.

I hope you enjoy your time at the store, and if there is anything that I can help with please don’t hesitate in contacting me via Etsy conversations.

Xoxo,

Jacque :)
