I'm not fully alive until I'm experimenting in my studio, messy in fibers, glue, saw dust, fabric scraps or hot glue. While I have a master's degree, my real skills were learned best as a child with a glorious new box of crayons or a stack of construction paper. My work is abstract because that's what I love and that's how my mind operates. On canvas, metal, fabric, paper or wood I find freedom and peace.
Eco-friendly materials, upcycled and recycled are common terms in my work--I make lots of things that had a previous life as something else.
I'm single with a great family and a dog who is kind enough to walk me. Life is good :)
