I love old timey cartoons from the 1920s and 1930s. And I love polymer clay. I find it fascinating and amazing the way that a polymer clay cane's design keeps its integrity even when it's stretched and shrunk down to something tiny. I love the way cured premo feels after it's been sanded and polished. And the fact that it can be molded into almost any shape means that there's really no limit to the things I can make with it.
Every piece is totally unique and one of a kind. Some of the canes are very limited quantity, and I can never be certain that I can accurately duplicate something that's really popular. So many factors can cause distortions in different areas of any design, sometimes I can almost copy something that I really love, but I don't do it very often. Once I use all the slices from a design, I would rather make something different next time.
