I live in a mill, lost in the middle of trees. I work in front of my window, and I often stop to watch blue tits flying by, a fox or a roe. This is what inspires and motivates me.
I have a "Diplôme des Beaux Arts" and a 'Licence d'Art Plastique".
After an interlude dedicated to garden design and creation. I am back to artistic creation with the making of little carded wool dolls. They are hand made and each one is unique. I use the needle felting technique, just wool. For the eyes, I use seed beads. Clothes are custom made. A simple doll takes about 20 hours of work.
They are not children toys, but rather like collectors item. They are not fragile, but the wool may be protected of the dust with a glass bell. They stand up on their own on a (homemade) plaster pedestal. They all have an id card with their…
